I found them as informative as any guide book and thought I would share them.<!--more--><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Villa O&#8217;Higgins<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alta Vista Trek: Starts over the Mayer bridge (2 miles south of Villa O)<\/p>\n<p>Glaciar Tigre: guide needed. Entre Patagones,\u00a0 80,000 per group.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Caleta <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Tortel<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Beautiful small town made of cipress. Trek: start from parking lot, around the hill you can see where the Baker River reaches the ocean.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Los Nadis<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Day trek beside Baker River. till you get to water jump.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Cochrane<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Bank and ATM! Supermarket Merelo, camping stove and gas.<\/p>\n<p>Reserva Tomango: day trek till corkentados. at the river very transparent water. Chance to see huemul (deer that is national animal). Ask for Pancho Melinao if you want boat ride.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Puerto Bertrand<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Small town beside the most beautiful part of the Baker River. Kayak, rafting and fishing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Puerto Tranquilo<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Catedrales del Marmal: small weird islands that look like the ones in Avatar. Hire boat on main street.<\/p>\n<p>Glaciar Exploradores: day trek around glacier beneath Mt. San Valentin. Ice climbing optional. Must hire services in El Puesto (includes everything, English speaking).<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cerro Castillo<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To see the lagoon and glaciar. hire mixed horseback and trekking guide in Camping La Araucaria &#8211; optional traditional barbeque.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Coyhaique<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regional.capital. Bank, ATM and North Face store. Reservations Nacional Coyhaique. Day trek, nothing special.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Queulaf National Park<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>North of Coyhaique.
